THE HIGHEST ESG RATING LEVEL
Environmental protection, ethics, labor, human rights, sustainability place Sesa among the top 1% of the best companies, out of about 150,000 certified by EcoVadis at the global level
Empoli (FI), 16 October 2025
Sesa (“SESA” – SES.MI), leading operator in the Digital Technology, Consulting, and Vertical Application sectors for businesses and organizations, listed on the Euronext STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, announces that it has received the EcoVadis Platinum Certification, further improving its last year’s ESG rating (Gold level). This certification represents the highest level assigned by EcoVadis and places Sesa among the top 1% of the most sustainable companies certified globally.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading sustainability assessment platforms, providing ESG ratings based on globally recognized standards, including the United Nations Global Compact. Its methodology is based on 21 criteria grouped into four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable supply chain. At the end of the assessment, EcoVadis assigns a score from 0 to 100 and issues a rating on a four-level scale: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum (reserved for the top 1% of companies with the highest ESG performance).
This independent certification confirms the Sesa’s ongoing commitment to sustainability aligned with the Group’s purpose focusing on creating long-term value for all stakeholders by promoting innovation, including digital innovation, for businesses and organizations, as well as the well-being of people.
This award confirms the path undertaken and announced in the Group’s 2026–27 Industrial Strategic Plan – disclosed in July 2025 – which, with a strong focus on organic growth and the adoption of digital enablers such as IA, Automation and Digital Platform, defines investments, targets, and concrete actions to further improve the ESG performances.
“Achieving the EcoVadis Platinum Certification represents a new milestone and confirms the strength of the sustainability journey we are pursuing for years with determination. It is the result of a collective effort involving all the people and the stakeholders, focused on promoting a development model based on innovation, responsibility, and a concrete commitment to social and environmental impact”, stated Jacopo Laschetti, Head of Sustainability of Sesa.
