This certification represents the highest level assigned by EcoVadis and places Sesa among the top 1% of the most sustainable companies certified globally.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>EcoVadis <\/strong>is one of the world\u2019s leading sustainability assessment platforms, providing ESG ratings based on globally recognized standards, including the United Nations Global Compact. Its methodology is based on <strong>21 criteria<\/strong> grouped into <strong>four key areas<\/strong>: <strong>environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable supply chain<\/strong>. At the end of the assessment, EcoVadis assigns a score from 0 to 100 and issues a <strong>rating<\/strong> on a four-level scale: <strong>Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum<\/strong> (reserved for the top 1% of companies with the highest ESG performance).<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>independent certification<\/strong> confirms the Sesa\u2019s ongoing commitment to sustainability aligned with the Group\u2019s purpose focusing on <strong>creating long-term value for all stakeholders by promoting innovation, including digital innovation, for businesses and organizations, as well as the well-being of people.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This award confirms the path undertaken and announced in the <strong>Group\u2019s 2026\u201327 Industrial Strategic Plan<\/strong> &#8211; disclosed in July 2025 &#8211; which, with a <strong>strong focus on organic growth and the adoption of digital enablers such as IA, Automation and Digital Platform<\/strong>, defines investments, targets, and concrete actions to further improve the <strong>ESG performances.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAchieving the EcoVadis Platinum Certification represents a new milestone and confirms the strength of the sustainability journey we are pursuing for years with determination.
